Baengnyeongdo Island, Daecheongdo Island, and
Socheongdo Island are located about 222 kilometers
west of the Incheon Coastal Passenger Terminal,

accessible in approximately 4 hours by a high-speed ferry.
These islands are situated around 14 kilometers from
Hwanghae Province and roughly 180 kilometers from

the eastern tip of China's Shandong Peninsula. They share
the same latitude as Chuncheon in Gangwon Province,
making them the northernmost islands in Republic of Korea.
						The climate on Baengnyeongdo, Daecheongdo,
and Socheongdo Islands is maritime, featuring cooler
summers and warmer winters compared to inland areas.

Access to these islands is mainly via ferry from the
Incheon Coastal Passenger Terminal. There is one ferry
departing daily from the terminal to Baengnyeongdo

Island, with return trips available. This ferry also stops at
Daecheongdo Island and Socheongdo Island. There are
two daily ferry services for both passengers

						and vehicles
 between Baengnyeongdo Island, Daecheongdo Island,
 and Socheongdo Island.
On Baengnyeongdo and Daecheongdo Islands, having
a car is recommended for getting around. You can either
rent a car or take a taxi. In contrast, Socheongdo

						Island
does not have any public transportation and is small
enough to be explored entirely on foot. For more details

Many main attractions are located along the
coast. It's advisable to check the tide forecast
(high and low tides) in advance to avoid being

any inconvenience. - 5.
Advance permission is required to fly drones
and film on Baengnyeongdo Island,
